Let’s talk about human abuse machine Casey Wasserman

LA28 Chairman Casey Wasserman has spent the last several weeks lying and ducking questions about his relationship with notorious pedophiles and human traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Calls have come from City of LA Councilmembers, LA County Board of Supervisors, Mayor Karen Bass, and across the sports and media landscape for him to step down from both LA28 and his eponymous agency. He has remained LA28 Chairperson, following an emergency LA28 board meeting last week. And he just announced he would be selling his stake in Wasserman, which is a minor step in the right direction, but certainly far from anything you could call “accountability”, as he stands to walk away with $800M.
Casey Wasserman’s relationship with Epstein and Ghislaine isn’t the only issue deserving scrutiny and is certainly not a one-off for Casey. And as much as Wasserman tries to say this is an isolated event that took place 23 years ago, everything in those past 23 years also deserves serious scrutiny.
Casey has left a long slime trail throughout his days in the worlds of music, video games, sports, and entertainment, proving that it’s not one really heinous act he’s guilty of, but many. This is a lifelong pattern of abuse. His abuse is intersectional.
Casey Wasserman & the LA28 Staff, whom he “Chronically Sleeps With”
In 2024, following an exodus of higher level employees, Casey Wasserman was “accused of being a ‘serial cheater’ who chronically sleeps with female staffers”. The Hollywood trades and tabloids reported on this, but more traditional mainstream outlets like the LA Times chose not to. Regardless, Billie Eillish left his roster following this scandal in late 2024. People within the industry knew he was a reckless sex pest.
Casey Wasserman & Ghislaine Maxwell
Casey’s ex-wife Laura threw a charity event for Ghislaine immediately before she was incarcerated.
When they were married, Casey and Laura Wasserman were on the board of Glenn Dubin’s (more on him later) Robin Hood Foundation charity. Glenn and his wife Eva were some of Epstein’s closest friends. Eva dated Epstein in the ‘80s, and the Dubins had Epstein over for Thanksgiving the year after he was convicted.
Casey and Maxwell clearly had a sexual relationship, as evidenced by the most recent Epstein files tranche. Casey and Maxwell were intimately linked.
Casey Wasserman & Jeffrey Epstein
It’s clear Casey Wasserman and Jeffrey Epstein knew each other, despite Casey’s lies to the contrary. We know that Casey Wasserman has been on Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express at least 10 times. In the Government records of their trip through Africa, multiple images were not scanned because they included “Child Sexual Assault Material”. We are confident there is still much more to be revealed about Wasserman and Maxwell’s relationship. The nature of the recent Wasserman-Maxwell correspondences implies an intimate relationship with Epstein and points towards his complicity in the sexual assault of young women and girls
Casey Wasserman & Steve Bing & Glenn Dubin
Steve Bing and Glenn Dubin are two other notorious sex criminals that are associated with both Epstein and Wasserman.
Bing was a high-profile Democratic donor, a friend of Bill Clinton, and a film producer who had strong ties to Dubin, Wasserman, and Epstein. Bing killed himself under mysterious circumstances, following Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest in 2019.
Glenn Dubin is, unfortunately, still alive. Dubin is a billionaire hedge fund manager and former Highbridge Capital co-founder. Virginia Giuffre alleged that she was trafficked to Glenn Dubin for sex by Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
Casey is also close with Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Kevin Spacey.
Casey Wasserman & Benjamin Netanyahu
Casey Wasserman is a hardcore Zionist and has displayed a lifelong commitment to supporting the genocide of Palestinians.
In late 2025, Wasserman traveled to Israel to meet and have a photo opp with this odious war criminal. Wasserman unveiled a special Israeli version of the atrocious LA28 logo.
Casey Wasserman & Activision
Casey Wasserman is a former Activision-Blizzard Board member from 2015-2022. He stepped down following a cover up of abuse at the company.
When news broke that Bobby Kotick covered up allegations of abuse at Activision Blizzard, Casey Wasserman came to his defense.
“Bobby Kotick & Casey Wasserman both step down from their positions at Activision-Blizzard, Wasserman in 2022 & Kotick end of 2023. Bill Gates’ company, Microsoft, proceeds to buy Activision-Blizzard shortly after. Bill Gates is also in the Epstein files 2,500 times.”
Casey Wasserman & Bill Simmons
In the mid 2010’s Casey Wasserman was the mysterious VC funding Bill Simmons’ media outlet The Ringer and didn’t disclose this, meanwhile many of Wasserman’s clients got favorable coverage by Simmons’s bloggers. Why conceal this, unless there’s something shady going on?
Simmons was also present at Casey’s party during All-Star weekend in LA last weekend.
Casey Wasserman & Scott Blackmun, Ignores Survivors of Larry Nassar
Casey Wasserman became close partners with Scott Blackmun during the 2016-2017 bidding cycle of what was originally the 2024 LA Olympic bid. Scott Blackmun was the former head of the United States Olympic Committee.
He stepped down after it was revealed he helped cover up decades of Larry Nassar’s child abuse. He received $2.4M in severance for falling on his sword.
In 2018, the attorney for the survivors of Larry Nassar held a press conference in which they called out Casey Wasserman and LA28 for remaining silent on this tragedy. Wasserman ignored them entirely.
Casey Wasserman & Eric Garcetti
Wasserman and Garcetti were both LA nepo-baby Harvard-Westlake kids. Garcetti’s dad was disgraced LA DA Eric Garcetti, onetime LA mayoral hopeful. Wasserman’s grandfather Lew Wasserman was a Hollywood mogul who knew where the bodies were buried (and probably put a few there himself). They detailed their long relationship during the LA24/28 bidding cycle, selling the press the narrative that they were the “1984 Boys” because they were both pretty privileged kids during the early ‘80s and had unusual access to the 1984 Games. Casey got to run with the Olympic torch. This was nauseatingly reprinted in every conceivable publication.
Eric Garcetti, of course, faced a serious scandal when it was revealed that his right hand man Rick Jacobs is an aggressive sex pest, and everyone in Garcetti’s office knew it. This scandal delayed Garcetti’s ambassador appointment for ages and ultimately stymied any political trajectory he was trying to create.
We’ve covered this extensively, but Eric Garcetti is a huge piece of shit.
In addition to his awful policies and billions he gave away to hotel developers, there are also allegations that Eric Garcetti had LAPD Chief Moore cover up domestic abuse that he had committed while he was on City Council.
We absolutely need to get Casey Wasserman out of any seat of power and influence, locally and anywhere else. The Olympics. Running half of the sports and music industries. Get him out of journalism and PR and Hollywood more broadly. He should run and hide.
The track record of amassing this amount of power and influence in any industry (let alone all of the above) leads to abuse. Casey isn’t immune to that, regardless of how the LA28 board might feel about their volunteer-chair. In fact, it seems as though he amassed power purely to align himself with those who were abusing children. We don’t have to accept this kind of leadership as a city. Mayor Karen Bass wants us to believe it is impossible to hold Casey accountable – but that’s simply not true.
But we also need to keep our eyes on the prize: cancelling the Olympics. No matter whatever Lovecraftian slime creatures they have in waiting to succeed Casey after his inevitable fall, the project is still an exploitation machine. There is no such thing as a “safe and successful Games,” as LA28 board puts it, especially not with a pedophile-aligned bro at the helm.
